maria drops her bag on the passenger seat from across shoulder, eyes squinting down at the old, beat up box. curiosity coaxing her to lean down closer when she spots a note resting atop it, and her head tilts itself to align the words better for her to read, and realization wipes the confusion clean off her face with a grin.

the smile on her face hurts her cheeks the more it grows, carefully making sure everything is set back nicely into the box before closing it, to keep anything from getting jostled about on the way home. maybe mama will feel up to helping her get it set up. she'd love that.

-(Daisuke receiving) It’s a bit obvious that Daisuke probably hasn’t gotten a lot of praise in his life. So I believe that he absolutely melts when you give him these encouraging words. It can range from a lot. From a small, “good job” to a “I love you so much, no matter what.”. It makes him so happy like you don’t even understand.

despite how much azul continues to do his best to learn about life on land… relationships are certainly difficult for him to understand sometimes considering how long he has spent his life in the sea and though there are many similarities between merpeople… there are still some differences. once azul is rather close to you he does become unintentionally— clingy with you.
